Meditation and Mindfulness

We offer basic programs and education in meditation and mindfulness. 

Meditation and mindfulness training are particularly helpful to students for quieting the mind,  leading to greater memory utility and mental focus. This training helps students maintain attention, have emotional control, and manage any stress. Many studies have shown that meditation and mindfulness can help with depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

We teach a very basic form of meditation and mindfulness that is entirely non-religious, based more or less on the work of mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) and Jon Kabbat-Zinn.
